Draft - pending attorney review. This agreement describes our actual product and business practices, but has not yet been reviewed and finalized by counsel.

Desktop software EULA

This End User License Agreement covers the installed PinkyAI desktop application specifically - a security tool that reads your code carries real liability exposure distinct from the web account/ billing terms in our Terms of Service, so it gets its own agreement rather than a shared one.

License grant

Subject to these terms, PinkyAI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the PinkyAI desktop application (the engine and CLI) on devices you control, for the purpose of reviewing tool calls made by AI coding agents you run locally.

Acceptable use

You will not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the binary except as the underlying source license (see our GitHub repository) separately permits. You will not use it to build a competing commercial product from the binary itself, and you are responsible for how your organization configures enforcement.

What this software does and does not do

The desktop application reviews tool calls before they run and can block or allow them per your configured rules. It reduces risk; it does not eliminate the need for your own judgment about what to run, and it can have false positives and false negatives like any rule-based system - see our Security & trust page for the honest limits.

Warranty disclaimer

The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinkyAI's total liability arising from your use of the desktop application is limited to the amount you paid for the enforcement seat(s) associated with your account in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you're on the free shadow-mode tier.

Updates

The application checks for and can install updates from your configured release channel (stable or beta). You can pin a version or roll back - see our documentation for how.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you violate these terms, or you can stop using the software at any time by uninstalling it.
