From install to first value

Assumes you've already installed (see Install). This is the shortest real path from "just installed" to "I can see exactly what this would have caught."

  1. Step 1

    Check it's running

    Shows version, platform, enforcement mode, and whether the optional proxy daemon is up.

  2. Step 2

    Use Claude Code or Cowork as normal

    Every tool call is evaluated in shadow mode. Nothing blocks yet — you're just building up a real report.

  3. Step 3

    See what would have fired

    The status/dashboard output shows a rule-count breakdown by mode (enforce vs. shadow) so you can see what's ready to turn on.

    Turn on the rules you trust

    Enforce a single rule, a whole category, or everything — your call, at whatever pace makes sense for your team.
